So I'm I'm HARD TRAUMA HIP. really excited to talk about trauma. It's not an exciting topic to talk about and and yeah it's so important to talk about HARD TRAUMA HIP.

I think which is why I'm so HARD TRAUMA HIP. just with all the work that I've done with individuals. I've just found over time that most people have been through a trauma at some point in their life, and I think this is. Really important topic for us to talk about because a lot of times you hear people say like it wasn't a big deal or that wasn't traumatic. It was you were just in a little fender bender right and a lot of times we can get really invalidated on our experiences and yet a traumatic experience can really affect individuals and so many different ways and so I think what is really helpful sometimes is to know like how trauma affects our systems so that it's just not like this random thing that we talk.

Like oh, that's traumatic or you know and people are like well that that wouldn't bother me so no big deal so what I thought would be helpful is just to explain a little bit about how our brain HARD TRAUMA HIP.

because that's the part that it's impacting right. So it's you know.

I see it. It's a well there you go so this is the front. Of our brain up here and then actually when we're born what happens is our brain develops, and HARD TRAUMA HIP. starts from the back and so we actually have what's called the reptile brain and HARD TRAUMA HIP. that helps us with our movement and all of the things that we actually don't think about like our breathing and our heartbeat that's all taken care of by that reptile system in the back and then we have this other part right here.

And what that really focuses on is our automatic responses to things so this limbic system holds our emotions in it and so when something happens, it's like our survival techniques. But it's actually fight, and I mean think of all of those situations where like you're in so much shock. Right, I don't know if you have a dog but I do Yeah. Well there you go a little.

I love cutting her. Oh, so you're not even noticing but your body is actually sending signals. This is all like subconscious where you're not thinking about it. It's just responds and then over time we developed that top part of our brain and within that cortex what's happening is that is more of that logical brain and so this is a.

Conscious part of the brain, so it's a lot slower.

It takes more time you have to like think about things and it's like that cause and effect like Oh if HARD TRAUMA HIP. touch that hot item that will hurt and then I have to think about it and try to remind myself that next time before I touch the burner do things you HARD TRAUMA HIP. along the way right. Yeah exactly. With regulating the emotions so when these emotions go up, this part of the brain is actually what helps you take a step back and kind of assess the situation and figure out how you wanna respond to this situation.

So it's more of a conscious approach and trying to figure out what's gonna help you out the best in the long run. Okay Sure. I was thinking trauma. I mean we. We talk about it. I hear about it a lot and and so often times they I think people Associated with the correct me.

If I'm wrong, you know HARD TRAUMA HIP. if you've been in the military and you've had that type of trauma or you know something so so traumatic. I mean it doesn't have to necessarily be just PTSD from for more it could have been traumatic childhood.

It could be it's in a car accident. It could be something of that nature right-I. We chatted about a little bit before I remember witnessing somebody get t-bone.

I'm talking to you about that because you're right. Are not the only individuals that struggle with trauma. It's like the lid gets flipped off and this one 's in.

And it's actually really really important right. It takes time like if you see someone get T-boned right, you're not gonna be like sitting there assessing the situation like I wonder how fast that car was going.
